Here ya go my #10 things you may or may not know of me…

download

1. I am a single mother runner from a small town in South Georgia near The Ocmulgee River. I have a witty, smart 7 year old son. I do not put him out there to the world often but he is the most important thing in my life. People usually look at me strange when I say his name is Range, & I always say I wanted a River or a Range when I found out I was having a little boy.

2. I love to read. This is something I picked up in my 20’s but now I am an addict for a good book. Whenever I go out of town I always pack at least 2 books and love to spend my time in bookstores. I went to Virginia recently and read a whole book on my flight! I love it…

3. I am drawn to the overcoming. When I say this I mean I love to meet and connect with people who are like me. Someone with an internal flame as bright as mine and fortunately I have learned to not only feel their presence but to see it vividly. It’s exciting to hear their determination for life!

4. I am as authentic as they come. My beliefs are that you add no value whatsoever to this world by following & trying to be someone else. Being real is the best thing We actually have to offer. I am so real, in my travels I scare people with my y’all but it is me. I believe honoring myself means keeping the truth of who I am visible and known… I will not let the truth of my being become invisible ever again!

5. I am completely and fully passion driven in life. This applies to whatever I do, I do it with passion and purpose. For instance my fitness & running is extremely significant to me because of difficulty I have faced in life. So luckily I don’t carry the competition mind frame and if I did things would definitely get ugly. Lol…

6. I can finally see! I finally see my path laid before me, and i see its the right way now. I recognize now all these signs I’ve ignored and brushed off for many years leading me to this exact place I am today.

7. Finding peace of mind has been the most magnificent thing I’ve ever experienced. This has taken me to the age of 34 to find but now I’ve located this about myself I KNOW I am invincible & do not have to question myself any longer. But most importantly I know now I need absolutely no validation from anyone but me… If I’d only learned this sooner;) lol

8. I have learned the essence of listening to life. Before I learned this I blamed and argued to make my points clear. Now I realize none of this helps in any way it just drains me of good energy! There is no reason for me to blame for instance my being injured right now on anyone or anything. It is my own doings and I have learned to utilized this down time purposely and I have discovered my biggest strengths by doing this…

9. I am a goof ball if ya didn’t know. This is another quality I have acquired in my 30’s because even my xhusband will tell ya I was always such a tight *ss in everything. Lol… Now a days I laugh & have so much more fun. I even spoke with some ladies at a meeting today and said us woman do not realize just how gorgeous or fun we are in our teens & 20’s because we are too busy caring of opinions from others. But once we approach around 30 or so, how’s the saying go? Our give a damn is busted by this time so you can say all ya want baby…lol

10. Faith is my Armour, I believe, I believe, I believe! I believe in myself, my dreams, and this path before me!! My faith has grown more over the past few years than even before. When I speak with people I say let faith take the wheel and stop driving on autopilot. This faith has taken me from deaths door to my finish line of the marathon and it WILL take me straight to my desired destination! I do know this for certain…
