On the last day of my 36th year I wanted to write a little something… This year has been amazing to say the least. I have encountered every type of obstacle you can imagine setting and fulfilling goals. But I am proud that I have stayed my course and remained strong through them all… Especially stepping out on faith to pursue my newest adventure… And I came to a conclusion this year through some real soul searching.

If there was a word to describe my past year it would be my year of STRENGTH… When I hear this word I don’t just hear it, I feel the depth of the word! So I have my own definition I have obtained through experiences… I’ve found strength through so many obstacles in life and especially this year. I have seen and experienced strength this year through let down, heart break, disappointment, burnout, fatigue, discouragement, setbacks, and many mistakes. But just as I found it through those obstacles I found it within beautiful, loving, and tranquil moments….
“When something bad happens you have three choices. You can let it define you, let it destroy you, or you can let it strengthen you.”
There were days when I thought my strength was gone, but I could always dig deep inside myself and discover so much more! I found that strength has been a bond to me not only through this year but throughout my entire life…
I honor this quality more each and every day now. And through this honoring I realize so much more… And that is that this word carries a lot of power… And this I do know, as I leave this 36th year behind me, I am leaving a STRONG message and when I leave this place completely, I plan to leave the STRONGEST legacy ever…Because I have looked at this face of fire and learned to blaze past it never giving up on anything I found of significance…
