I sat on a call and listened to Dr Bennet Omalu speak tonight over this movie. As I listened to him speak I could relate completely to the path he took to make this film. His mission is completely off of his heart from personal reasons as a child. The past few years life has spoken to me in every way possible to speak my own message of brain injury, and hearing him talk of how it was so hard to get his message across honestly touched my heart in every way imaginable. Especially when he stated he knew this was a calling from his maker so he was not afraid, those are my thoughts exactly with my own mission…
This movie is intended to be a #GameChanger for our world, not to bash any structured sporting events. Only to educate and enlighten on an injury so very special to my heart! As a member of your Brain Injury Advisory Council with The Brain Injury Association of America I do encourage everyone to take time to check this film out in theaters in December. And I can’t say thank you enough to Sony Pictures for producing this, because I do know it will help the mission I have been working so diligently on…
